Treehugger

Treehugger is the best sustainability blog I've found yet...an encyclopedic range of articles, along with opportunities for "greenies" to interact, network, and find jobs. It's credible but doesn't take itself too seriously...lots of good information here, with an attractively light touch.

Chesapeake Sustainable Business Network (Maryland-based)

As a BALLE network, the CSBA promotes local sustainable businesses, educates the public on the importance of supporting the local economy, and encourages businesses and consumers to be environmentally sustainable and socially responsible. Their Buy Local Baltimore campaign offers consumers a discount for buying from member businesses.

Co-op America (for green/sustainable businesses only)

Their mission is to harness economic power-the strength of consumers, investors, businesses, and the marketplace-to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society. To do this, they offer a wealth of information on greening your life and business, including the online and offline National Green Pages, a networking listserv for green businesses, four yearly Green Fest expo/conferences, and much more.

SustainLane

SustainLane has taken a three-prong approach to bringing green to the mainstream by targeting businesses and consumers at SustainLane.com, and governments at SustainLane Government. Currently they're finalizing improvements to their upgraded business directory, which they’ll be rolling out in March along with an online space where people can share information about their favorite green products, services, and businesses like yours!
